Challenge Camp FAQ's

What is Challenge Camp?

In July of 2021 CBC introduced a 5-Day Youth Challenge Camp. This is very similar to the traditional Vacation Bible School but has a larger focus on sports. However, it isn't all about sports, as some activities have been added specifically for those who may be less interested in sports.

Sport activities include: Wiffleball, Flag Football, Futsal (indoor soccer), Basketball, & Volleyball.

Non-sport activities include: Nature hikes, GagaBall, & Capture the Flag.

  • Every evening begins with a time of worship music & a brief lesson on the theme of the week.

  • Snack/water breaks are given to all age groups.

  • At the end of the day, all age groups are taught a Bible lesson & are given a memory verse to think on throughout the week.

  • The end-of-week activities typically include relay races, an ice cream social & a water night.

What Does it Cost to Attend?

Absolutely nothing! This event is completely FREE.

Where is it Held?

We hold it at Countryside Baptist Church in Forest Hill.

Can I Drop My Child Off?

Absolutely! However, the first night (Monday) a parent/legal guardian MUST be present with the child to fill out registration forms. More information about this will be made available to parents/guardians on Registration Day.

Will Food Be Provided?

A small assortment of light snacks will be provided at specific times during the week. Snack items vary but will likely include: a granola bar, cheese stick, chips, water and/or juice. We strongly encourage all parents to feed their children dinner before arriving as the snacks we provide will be light & are not meant to be a meal replacement.

If your child has a food allergy you are more than welcome to pack a snack for him or her. Please alert the leader of your child's group if this happens.
