What We Believe
Our Statement of Faith:
1). The Scriptures: We believe the Bible to be the infallible Word of God & is the only authority of our faith.
For uniformity and consistency we have chosen to use the King James Version Bible for teaching & preaching.

2). God: We believe that God is divine in all of His attributes as given in His Word. We believe in one God (Mark 12:29, I Tim. 2:5, James 2:19). We believe God is eternal and exists in three persons- God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (Matt. 3:16-17; 28:18-20, Romans 1:7, Heb. 1:8, Acts 5:3-4). We believe that God is omniscient (all-knowing), omnipotent (all-powerful), omnipresent (all-present), (Gen. 18:4, Job 42:2, Ps. 147:4, Prov. 15:3,21, Jer. 23:23-24).

a. God the Father: We believe God is the Father, perfect in holiness, boundless in love, infinite in wisdom & measureless in power. He saves from sin & death all those who come to Him through Jesus Christ, His son.
b. God the Son: We believe in Jesus Christ, God the Son; pre-existent with the Father; begotten by the Holy Spirit & born of the virgin, Mary; sinless in His nature & life providing total & complete forgiveness & vindication for our sins by trusting in faith in His substitutionary, sacrificial death on the cross. We believe in His bodily resurrection; His ascension to Heaven; His perpetual intercession for His people & his coming glorious second advent according to His promise.
c. God the Holy Spirit: We believe in all the attributes of God the Holy Spirit as given in the Scriptures; that He came from God the Father to reprove the world of sin, of righteousness, of judgment and to regenerate, indwell, seal, comfort, & empower those who trust in Jesus Christ as their Savior.
3). Salvation: We believe the only way of salvation is through the shed blood of our Lord Jesus Christ & we must repent of our sins & by faith receive Him as our personal Savior.

Our Purpose:
1). To carry out the great commission of Christ, as given in Matthew 28:19-20.
2). The administration of the two ordinances of the New Testament, baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
3). To edify, exhort, and comfort the saints in God through preaching and teaching the Word of God as set forth in the Articles of Faith of our church.
